Job Description: Monitor day-to-day operations of Salmonella Reference Center, initiate and participate in research into new techniques for isolation and discrimination of enteric bacteria, supervise staff and monitor adherence to QA standards, attend scientific meetings and serve as liaison with disease surveillance agencies, plan and execute field studies, train staff and students, collaborate in grant preparation, oversee clinical microbiology operations and budgets.
