7.3 Client Services and Laboratory Quality Management

Client Services has three main areas of responsibility, namely:

  1. receiving and tracking samples within PADLS
  2. responding to special requests from clients and
  3. management of Laboratory Quality.

The overriding goal of Client Services is to work in cooperation with case coordinators to help ensure accurate, timely and interpretable test results for our clients. Through the mechanism of the formal tripartite PADLS Quality and Accreditation Committee the PADLS quality management team enthusiastically collaborates in the development and production of quality protocols which form the basis of a PADLS Quality Manual. They actively encourage our clients to contact us with questions, suggestions, complaints as well as positive feedback with the goal of more finely tuning the services of the PADLS to the perceived needs of the Commonwealth’s agricultural industries.
